This month’s Open House entitled Managing Your Own Brain will focus on Z-Score Training, a new, cutting edge development which is currently getting a great deal of attention in the neurofeedback community. This type of “brain training” is based on a normative database with live, second by second calculations. As the challenges are met, the criteria changes to allow optimal continuous performance. This presentation will include an actual demonstration of this new brainwave software now being utilized at Stone Mountain Center.
Our bi-monthly Open House at Stone Mountain Center offers an opportunity for prospective clients or the families of those already in treatment, to meet Dr. Stephen Larsen and the SMC staff in person and learn more about our biofeedback, neurofeedback and counseling services. Following each Open House theme presentation, light refreshments are served.
